Beyond the Weekend - the 4th Day

Cursillo is more than just the "3 Day" Weekend.  In fact the real journey starts after the 3 Days, in your "4th Day", which is the rest of your life.  Do you want to keep alive the spirit, joy, and fervor of your weekend.  Then commit to living out the Piety-Study-Action tripod of your Service and Group Reunion sheets - this is the Cursillo Method, this is how we persevere!  Use the information and links on this page to access some tools to assist you in continuing on your faith pilgrimage.

TO BE ON A PILGRIMAGE

To be on a Pilrimage

is to journey

through Christ to the

Father under the guidance

of the Holy Spirit, with

the help of Mary and all

of the saints as you

bring your brothers and sisters

along with you.

COME HOLY SPIRIT

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts

of us Your faithful and kindle in us

the fire of Your Love.  And You

shall renew the face of the earth.

Let us pray.

O God, who by the light of the

 Holy Spirit instructs the hearts

of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be

truly wise and ever rejoice

 in His consolations.

Through Christ our Lord.  Amen.

10/22 - For the repose of the soul of Fr Al Herber, may he rest in peace and the family be comforted.

10/18 - For Ashely who was diagnosed with ALS, she started to get feeling in her legs so they had her tested and she doesn't have ALS, doctors said it looks like complications from Lyme Disease.

11/8 - Took a turn for the worse, further testing needed.  Headed for Mayo.

10/18 - From Leah, I overheard a conversation yesterday that I think I was meant to overhear (for prayer) from a stranger. I heard that her son had written a note at school saying he wanted to kill himself.  Can we lift this little boy and all other children contemplating suicide?  May the blessed mother wrap her arms around them and protect them from the lies of the enemy.

10/16 - From Vicki H, for my friend Lisa.  Her husband is battling cancer. Her son, who is autistic, was diagnosed with lymes disease. Her father is in advanced stages of Alzheimer. And her mother has 4 bulging discs in her back and the pain meds are not working.  May God bless Lisa's decisions as their care giver.

10/16 - For 81 year old father, will have a heart valve replacement on Wednesday.

10/12 - From Silva T, that I may be able to retire with spiritual peace and that God will guide my boss and HR to find a good person to replace me.  God Bless the sick children in this hospital!
